Vernonia fasciculata (Prairie Ironweed) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are listed as endangered by COSEWIC. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. Flowers are visited by Clusia lateralis, Svastra compta, American Bumblebee, and Nomada salicis. Individuals can grow to 12 dm.
