Silphium perfoliatum (Cup Plant) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and North America. They have yellow flowers. Flowers are visited by Hunt Bumble Bee, Rusty patched bumble bee, Red-belted Bumble Bee, and Honey bee. Individuals can grow to 6 feet.
