Symphyotrichum subulatum (Seaside American Aster) is a species of annual herb in the family Asteraceae. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, and The Americas. They have blue flowers and achenes. Flowers are visited by Dainty Sulphur, Spotted Cucumber Beetle, Chauliognathus basalis, and Painted Crescent. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
