Mentha piperita () is a species of perennial herb in the family Lamiaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Hornet, Epiclopus gayi, Hunt Bumble Bee, and small white. Individuals can grow to 0.69 m.
