Persicaria perfoliata (Asiatic Tearthumb) is a species of annual herb in the family Polygonaceae. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Myanmar, India, Nepal, Bangladesh, The Philippines, Japan, South America, China, Malaysia, Taiwan, and North Korea. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes.
