Itea virginica (Virginia Sweetspire) is a species of shrub in the family Iteaceae. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Eastern North America. They have white flowers. Flowers are visited by Xylocopa virginica virginica, Dielis dorsata, Southern Carpenter Bee, and Brown-belted Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 10 feet.
