Verbascum thapsus (Great Mullein) is a species of biennial herb in the family Scrophulariaceae. They are native to Tajikistan, The Netherlands, Poland, Bhutan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Hungary, Belgium, Afghanistan, Sweden, China, Czech Republic, Belarus, Denmark, Finland, Spain, Georgia, Austria, Nepal, Russia, Germany, United Kingdom, India, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Ireland, France, Iran, Serbia And Montenegro, Norway, Kyrgyzstan, Portugal, Ukraine, Italy, Romania, Moldova, and Switzerland. Flowers are visited by Syrphid fly, Common Eastern Bumblebee, Honey bee, and Bicolored Agapostemon.
