Mertensia ciliata (Tall Fringed Bluebells) is a species of perennial herb in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Western North America. They have simple, broad leaves and blue flowers. Flowers are visited by Yellow Head Bumble Bee, Central Bumble Bee, Forest Bumble Bee, and Golden-belted Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
