Heliotropium indicum (Indian Heliotrope) is a species of annual herb in the family Boraginaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, Pampa, GoiáS, Alagoas, Mato Grosso, SãO Paulo, Bahia, Mata Atlântica, RondôNia, Pantanal, Piauí, Espirito Santo, Pernambuco, Santa Catarina, Acre (Brazil), Maranhao, Amazônia, Minas Gerais, Pará, Distrito Federal, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Amapá, Cerrado, Tocantins, Rio Grande Do Sul, Paraná, ParaíBa, and Caatinga. They have simple, broad leaves and drupes. Individuals can grow to 1.5 m.
