Phlox diffusa (Spreading Phlox) is a species of perennial herb in the family Polemoniaceae. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have purple flowers. Flowers are visited by Scathophaga stercoraria, Vanessa cardui, Argynnis hydaspe, and Drasteria parallela. Individuals can grow to 0.5 feet.
