Lagerstroemia indica (Crape Myrtle) is a species of tree in the family Lythraceae. They have purple flowers and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Lasioglossum tarponense, Lasioglossum nymphale, Narrow Stingless Bee, and Green Metallic Sweat Bee. Individuals can grow to 25 feet.
