Acer campestre (Field Maple) is a species of tree in the family Sapindaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They have simple, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by early mining bee, Buff-tailed bumblebee, Andrena scotica, and Andrena thoracica. Individuals can grow to 20 m.
