Ilex verticillata is a species of tree in the family Aquifoliaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, Eastern North America, North America, and The Contiguous United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Apis mellifera, Hylaeus modestus, Hylaeus, and Bombus impatiens. Individuals can grow to 3.6 m.
