Ribes cereum (Wax Currant) is a species of shrub in the family gooseberries. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada, The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and United States. They have simple, broad leaves and white flowers. Flowers are visited by Large bee-fly, small white, Polygonia zephyrus, and Black Swallowtail. Individuals can grow to 3 feet.
