Kalmia polifolia (Bog Laurel) is a species of shrub in the family Ericaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to North America, The Contiguous United States, Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves, purple flowers, and capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Sericomyia transversa, Andrena regularis, Sanderson Bumble Bee, and Tricolored Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 0.5 m.
