Salix viminalis (Common Osier) is a species of tree in the family Salicaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Eristalis, Helophilus trivittatus, Banded Meliscaeva, and Epistrophe grossulariae. Individuals can grow to 5 m.
