Polygonum paronychia (Beach Knotweed) is a species of shrub in the family Polygonaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States and Canada. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Bat MERS-like coronavirus and Western Bumble Bee. Individuals can grow to 0.4 m.
