They are native to Azerbaijan, Tajikistan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Moldova, Afghanistan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, China, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, South Korea, Iran, Russia, Iraq, and North Korea.
