Nitrophila occidentalis is a species of perennial herb in the family Amaranthaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Western North America, and The Americas. They have simple, broad leaves and purple flowers. Individuals can grow to 1 feet.
