Description: Again - a poor representation of the colour which should be much richer and more orange. I've tried lots of settings but the camera just doesn't seem to want to pick it up. It looks right in the view-finder initially but then when you focus it goes dull - as if the camera's programme is saying - no - that can't be right - it can't be as bright as that. Not totally sure of the id - there are odd specimens of this scattered across a wide area at Pool Meadow - not very numerous but always eye-catching. Gargaricus is my best guess - they're much richer in colour than the usual chrysantha types elsewhere in the garden. Date: 17 February 2012, 14:31. Source:
