Angiopteris evecta (Oriental Vessel Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Marattiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Niue, Guam, Cook Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Australia, Micronesia, New Caledonia, Indonesia, Solomon Islands, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, French Polynesia, American Samoa, Fiji, Palau, and Tonga. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 12 m. They have alternation of generations.
