Anemone nemorosa (European Thimbleweed) is a species of shrub in the family Ranunculaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by Melanostoma mellina, Andrenine bee, Honey bee, and Neoascia podagrica. Individuals can grow to 0.16 m.
