Nephrolepis rivularis (Streamside Sword Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family sword ferns. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Santa Catarina, Amazônia, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Rio De Janeiro, Mata Atlântica, Ceará, SãO Paulo, Rio Grande Do Sul, Roraima, Pará, Pernambuco, Puerto Rico, Alagoas, Acre (Brazil), Bahia, Espirito Santo, U.S. Virgin Islands, Amapá, and Paraná. They have compound, broad leaves. They have alternation of generations.
