Pilularia americana (American Pillwort) is a species of perennial herb in the family Marsileaceae. They are associated with freshwater habitat. They are native to The Contiguous United States, Mata Atlântica, Rio Grande Do Sul, and North America. They have pinnate leaves. They have alternation of generations.
