Botrychium simplex (Little Grapefern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Ophioglossaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Greenland, Alaska, The Contiguous United States, and Canada. They have compound, broad leaves. Individuals can grow to 0.049 m. They have alternation of generations.
