Adiantum pectinatum is a species of herb in the family Pteridaceae. They are native to Amazônia, Mato Grosso Do Sul, Alagoas, Cerrado, GoiáS, SãO Paulo, Bahia, Distrito Federal, Maranhao, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, RondôNia, Mato Grosso, Tocantins, Pará, and Acre (Brazil). They have alternation of generations.
