Cirsium oleraceum (Cabbage Thistle) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have simple, broad leaves and achenes. Flowers are visited by painted lady, Marmalade hoverfly, Platycheirus peltatus, and ringlet. Individuals can grow to 0.95 m.
