Ononis spinosa (Spiny Restharrow) is a species of shrub in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They have compound, broad leaves and dry fruit. Flowers are visited by wool-carder bee, Bombus ruderarius, Stelis signata, and Shrill carder bee. Individuals can grow to 0.6 m.
