Physical description

provided by INOTAXA archive
The single species referred to this genus must be separated from Megalostylus, owing to its less developed head and prothorax, the subdentate, stout posterior femora (especially noticeable in the male), the unarmed outer apical angle of the anterior tibiæ, and the hirsute, sparsely squamose upper surface of the body. It appears to be not uncommon in the Mexican State of Oaxaca.
