Securigera varia (Crown Vetch) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They are climbers. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Iraq, Iran, Ukraine, Turkey, Estonia, Azerbaijan, Russia, Germany, Czech Republic, Lebanon, Spain, Poland, France, Armenia, Italy, Greece, Albania, Moldova, Turkmenistan, Syria, Belarus, Georgia, Romania, Yugoslavia, Eastern North America, Austria, Switzerland, Lithuania, Latvia, Hungary, Northern Africa, and Bulgaria. They have compound, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by small white, Red tailed bumblebee, Shrill carder bee, and Common carder bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 157.2 cm.
