Hedysarum alpinum (Alpine Sweetvetch) is a species of perennial herb in the family legumes. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Alaska, The Contiguous United States, Canada, and United States. They have compound, broad leaves and purple flowers. Individuals can grow to 2 feet.
