They are native to Puerto Rico, Florida, Pacific Basin excluding Hawaii, Mata Atlântica, Espirito Santo, Pernambuco, Maranhao, The Contiguous United States, SãO Paulo, Bahia, Amazônia, Pará, Alagoas, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande Do Sul, Amapá, Rio Grande Do Norte, Rio De Janeiro, Ceará, ParaíBa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Sergipe. Flowers are visited by American Bumblebee, Mangrove Skipper, Long-tailed Blue, and Honey bee.
