Tussilago farfara (Coltsfoot) is a species of perennial herb in the family Asteraceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Austria, Italy, Lithuania, Denmark, The Netherlands, Ukraine, Hungary, Sweden, Albania, Germany, Yugoslavia, Nepal, Azerbaijan, Switzerland, Kyrgyzstan, United Kingdom, Latvia, Turkmenistan, Morocco, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Moldova, India, Georgia, Ireland, Poland, Turkey, Tajikistan, Norway, Russia, Lebanon, Iran, Greece, Finland, Algeria, Belarus, Romania, Spain, Estonia, Uzbekistan, France, and Czech Republic. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by White-tailed bumblebee, Epalpus signifer, Cheilosia grossa, and Orange-legged furrow bee. Individuals can grow to 0.22 m.
