The geographic distribution is so far limited to Australia. It has unique spore ornamentation in the genus by being rugose with crater-like pits. Typically the genus has spores that are pitted or usually alveolate-reticulate. Spore deposit is olive brown.
Australia: Queensland, Tasmania, Victoria (so far).
