Calyptrosphaera oblonga is a species of Haptophyta in the family Calyptrosphaeraceae. They are native to Bahia, Espirito Santo, Santa Catarina, Paraná, and Rio De Janeiro. Dead Calyptrosphaera oblonga form calcareous oozes.
