Aviceda madagascariensis (Madagascan Cuckoo Hawk) is a species of birds in the family Accipitridae. They are listed in cites appendix ii. They are native to Ethiopia. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on flight and gliding to move around.

Definition: Appendix II lists species that are not necessarily now threatened with extinction but that may become so unless trade is closely controlled.
