Lagostrophus fasciatus (Banded Hare Wallaby) is a species of mammals in the family Macropodidae. They are listed as vulnerable by IUCN and in cites appendix i. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They are nocturnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 48 months. They have parental care (female provides care). They rely on saltation to move around.
