Description

Hairless perennial with prostrate, creeping stems, often rooting at the nodes. Leaves crowded near the base and in clusters at the nodes, oblanceolate to spathulate, up to c. 11 cm long, obtuse to rounded at the apex; margin subentire ot finely toothed, sometimes somewhat lobed. Often the leaf clusters are subtended by 2 broadly ovate to kidney-shaped leaf-like bracts. Capitula solitary or few together from the root-crown and the leaf clusters. Florets 10-20 per capitulum, yellow.
