Potorous tridactylus (Long Nosed Potoroo) is a species of mammals in the family Potoroidae. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are native to Oceania continent (Australia, NZ and islands). They are nocturnal herbivores. Individuals are known to live for 144 months. Reproduction is viviparous. They rely on saltation to move around.
