Loxia curvirostra (Common Crossbill) is a species of birds in the family finches. They are native to The Nearctic and the Palearctic. They are diurnal herbivores. They have parental care (paternal care, occasionally breeds cooperatively, and female provides care). They rely on flight to move around.
