Ophiodon elongatus (Lingcod) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family greenlings. They are native to Pacific Ocean and The Nearctic. They are solitary, diurnal carnivores. Individuals can grow to 152 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They have parental care (female provides care and paternal care). They rely on swimming to move around.
