Takifugu ocellatus (Ocellated Puffer) is a species of ray-finned fishes in the family puffers. They are listed as near threatened by IUCN. They are associated with freshwater habitat. Individuals can grow to 17.6 cm. They have sexual reproduction. They rely on anal and dorsal fin swimming to move around.
