Adults occur in coral-rich areas of lagoon and seaward reefs from below the surge zone to at least 30 m, where they typically rest between corals, sides of crevices or shallow caves. Oviparous. Eggs are demersal and adhesive (Ref. 205), and are attached to the substrate via a filamentous, adhesive pad or pedestal (Ref. 94114). Larvae are planktonic, often found in shallow, coastal waters (Ref. 94114).

Ecsenius opsifrontalis és una espècie de peix de la família dels blènnids i de l'ordre dels perciformes present a Micronèsia, Wallis i Futuna[3] i Filipines.[4][5] És un peix marí de clima tropical i associat als esculls de corall.[5] Els mascles poden assolir 5 cm de longitud total.[5][6] És ovípar.[7]
