This species occurs in European waters and in the Mediterranean Sea.

Identification

provided by World Register of Marine Species
Verstraelen (1966), Pelseneer (1881b) and Vonck (1933) have reported Cerithium vulgatum . Probabely these authers have this species confused with Cerithiopsis tubercularis (Montagu, 1803).
