Salvia coccinea (Red Sage) is a species of shrub in the family Lamiaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Puerto Rico, The Contiguous United States, and U.S. Virgin Islands. They have simple, broad leaves. Flowers are visited by Baird's Sandpiper, Honey bee, Melissodes communis communis, and Black Swallowtail.
