Citharexylum spinosum (Bois Carre) is a species of tree in the family Verbenaceae. They are native to United States, The Bahamas, Hispaniola, Lesser Antilles, Puerto Rico, Greater Antilles, The Contiguous United States, Guyana, Venezuela, The Americas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Suriname. Flowers are visited by Ruddy Daggerwing, Atala, Cigaritis ictis, and Catopsilia pomona.
