Impatiens capensis (Jewelweed) is a species of annual herb in the family Balsaminaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Saint-Pierre Et Miquelon, The Contiguous United States, Eastern North America, Western North America, Canada, and North America. They have simple, broad leaves, yellow flowers, and loculicidal capsule fruit. Flowers are visited by Common Eastern Bumblebee, Rhingia nasica, Honey bee, and Yellow Bumblebee. Individuals can grow to 4.9 feet.
