Adiantum petiolatum (Stalked Maidenhair) is a species of perennial herb in the family Pteridaceae. They are native to Mata Atlântica, Pernambuco, Roraima, Bahia, Piauí, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso, ParaíBa, Maranhao, Amazônia, Pará, Amapá, Alagoas, SãO Paulo, Paraná, RondôNia, GoiáS, Tocantins, Acre (Brazil), Puerto Rico, Minas Gerais, and Ceará. They have alternation of generations.
