Adiantum pedatum (Northern Maidenhair Fern) is a species of perennial herb in the family Pteridaceae. They have a self-supporting growth form. They are native to Canada and The Contiguous United States. They have compound, broad leaves and brown flowers. Individuals can grow to 1.3 feet. They have alternation of generations.
