Axonopus (Carpetgrass) is a genus of grass in the family true grasses. They are native to The Contiguous United States, U.S. Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, and Afrotropics. Flowers are visited by Halictonomia decemmaculata. Individuals can grow to 0.8 m.
